Brigitte Adolph discovered the floral top motifs of the Aida line during a visit to Germany’s lace city Plauen. When flower motif was finished in high-quality yellow gold, the designer opted for colour-intensive drops made of precious turquoise. Turquoise is one of the oldest gemstones in the history of mankind and was already appreciated by the ancient Egyptians. This is how the earrings found their name, because the opera Aida is set in Egypt during the time of the Pharaohs. Like the Ethiopian princess Aida, modern princesses shine with these special pieces of jewellery. Pendant only, chain not included. This necklace pendant looks best with a 42 cm or 45 cm XS chain by Brigitte Adolph with links made of twisted wire. The length is 5,8 cm.
