The Mona Lisa depicted in Leonardo da Vinci’s world-famous painting has become a romantic icon of femininity. Lace jewellery designer Brigitte Adolph has superbly transmuted the soft expression of the ma donna (my lady) Lisa into delicate pieces of jewellery. While the pearl represents gentle femininity, the elegant lace design reflects the ladylike character of the noblewoman portrayed. The overall length of the necklace pendant is 11,5 cm.
