Spitzen-Schmuck necklace "Venezia"
Silver (925)
Like an embroiderer from past times German designer Brigitte Adolph makes precious jewels in the shape of
lace where gold and silver become a fabric to be enriched with small diamonds and rubies. Thus Brigitte has
become an ambassador of a style that blends the rediscovery of the ancient traditions, such as handmade lace,
to the most noble of materials. Earrings, rings and necklaces in silver, white and yellow gold are born of
the desire to recreate lace work in an illusion that only reveals itself as such by touch. She creates pieces
that are new and innovative yet are inspired by the past, by her memories of her homeland.
"Venezia" plays with this illusion, as well.
Brigitte got inspired by a wonderful, handcrafted venetian lace that she discovered in a small handcraft shop
in Venice during her honeymoon.
The traditional rather unsophisticated lace collar turns under the transformation into precious metal to a
dazzling accessory.
